The Not Wedding + Save the date + Jessica & Mike + Cape Cod wedding Photographer

The NotWedding is coming back to Cape Cod on November 9th at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel and we had the pleasure of kicking off the event with the Save-the-Date styled shoot!

Introducing the Cape Cod NotCouple, Jessica & Mike – a super cute couple who have been living life in the Coast Guard since before they were married and are currently stationed on Cape Cod.

We decided to do the Save-the-Date shoot at the Barnstable County Fair, a Cape Cod staple event at the end of July. Corn Dogs, Ferris Wheels and all, Jessica and Mike had a blast at the fair and let us capture some photos of them throughout the evening. With the help from Jamie at Cape Cod Celebrations, flowers from Alchemy Flowers and Gardens, paper products from Tag Design and the hair and makeup team from Lisa George, we were able to capture some amazing photos of the happy couple taking in all of the elements of the fairgrounds. It was a perfect night!

From the Bride:
“Mike and I met through his sister Jaime which is one of my best friends. After being set up on a date in high school we fell hard and Mike followed me to college in Wyoming. There we got engaged and planned the wedding long distance to be in Colorado before Mike was sent off to boot camp. Mike was notified he would be entering boot camp earlier so we had to reschedule the whole wedding and family had to change airplane tickets. Our small wedding happened just two days after mike got back from Boot camp. After a hectic wedding weekend we loaded up the car and headed to our first station the Coast guard sent us to which was San Diego, CA. Since then the Coast Guard has sent us to Sacramento, CA to Virginia Beach, VA to Mobile, AL where our two amazing, full of energy boys were born. After five years we were transferred to beautiful Cape Cod. It has been tough to uproot so often but for us home is wherever the Coast Guard sends us. ”
